Donruss/Playoff National Wrapper Redemption Program

With the National Sports Collectors Convention set to begin next Wednesday, officials at Donruss have announced plans for their wrapper redemption. Available only at the Donruss corporate booth, collectors that bring FIVE un-opened packs of any 2008 hobby product or a box of any Retail product will receive a two card pack. Twenty different rookies will be randomly inserted in these packs, all utilizing photography from this year's Rookie Photo Shoot. Donruss Americana cards have also been added this year, in support of the Series II release which hits streets this week.

To differentiate the football cards from the original Donruss Elite release, the cards will be serial-numbered XXX/499. Also randomly inserted in the packs will be die-cut Aspiration and Status parallels. Each rookie card will have a Blue Aspirations parallel serial-numbered to XX/50, a Red Status parallel serial-numbered to XX/50 and a Gold Status Parallel serial-numbered to XX/25.

Donruss will also be randomly inserting AUTOGRAPH cards of the players, as well as "INSTANT WIN" cards good for an 8 x 10 of the original Donruss Elite RC signed by the individual players.

The players in the set are Darren McFadden, Matt Ryan, Jonathan Stewart, Rashard Mendenhall, Felix Jones, Chris Johnson, Jamaal Charles, Brian Brohm, Chad Henne, Joe Flacco, Matt Forte, James Hardy, Malcolm Kelly, Limas Sweed, Mario Manningham, Devin Thomas, Donnie Avery, Eddie Royal, Jordy Nelson, and Jake Long.

Donruss Americana II cards can also be found randomly inserted in the packs. A total of 17 different cards can be found, all stamped with the 2008 National logo and serial-numbered to 25. Donruss will also be randomly inserting AUTOGRAPH cards of each of the celebrities.

The celebrities included in the set will be Richard Petty, John Wooden, **** Vitale, Rob Schneider, Ricardo Montalban, Karen Allen, William Shatner, Forrest Griffin, Urijah Faber, George St. Pierre, John McCarthy, Sean Sherk, Rich Franklin, Randy Couture (two different cards), Houston Alexander and Dan Henderson.

Press Pass Offers Free Autograph/Memorabilia Redemption Program & Exclusive Legends Football Cards at 29th National

Press Pass Inc. brings back their popular box redemption program to The National Sports Collectors Convention at the Donald Stephens Center in Rosemont, IL, July 30 -August 3. Collectors purchase a hobby box of 2008 Press Pass Eclipse, Premium, Stealth, or Speedway NASCAR trading cards from a dealer at the show and bring the box to the Press Pass booth (#629). Press Pass has also announced that they are producing exclusive 2008 Press Pass Legends Football cards for an exciting wrapper redemption promotion at the 29th National in Rosemont, a suburb of Chicago. Each collector who opens one 6-pack mini-box of 2008 Legends Football at the Press Pass booth will receive a special National-exclusive base card parallel featuring red foil stamping and sequential numbering to only 5! Each card will be blind-wrapped in an opaque silver foil pack.
