    Gene Garber?

    Has anyone written to him? Will he sign? Was one of my favorite Braves growing up. Good relief pitcher on some BAD teams.

    Yes he was and somehow he lasted 19 years in the bigs and had over 200 saves. And he ended Pete Rose's hitting streak.

    I wasnt aware that he ended Mr. Rose's hit streak, plus 200 saves during that era??? that is an accomplishment. they used to go 2-3 innings, not 2-3 outs
