    Sad thing is, I broke those packs (generally OPC rather than Topps, but some Topps too) when they were new. I recognize each design.

    Don't expect much for the card with the gum but the rest should be nice.

    I always found the card nearest the wax seal to be far worse than the one near the gum. Maybe after 25 years, it's a little different.

    Wax is on the back of the card, the gum is on the front face of the card. The gum can sometime be cleaned but you can always tell under close inspection. Thw wax on the back get inside the cardboard so not much to do on those.

    Maybe it's different with Topps, but for OPC, the cards faced the wax seal, at least during the 80s.
