    1970's Football Jar lids?

I acquired a set of what appear to be jar lids which have images of NFL helmets on them. On the sides of the lids they have the division and conference the team was in at the time; I believe they are from the 70's as the Colts are still in Baltimore and some of the logo's have definitely changed. Can anyone tell me anything about these?

    Thanks,
    Tom

    Tom,
Would these lids be the size of those on the old glass jelly jars or on canning jars?

They are the size of old glass jelly jars...about 2 1/4" in diameter. They are all on a white background.

    Thanks,
    Tom

I seem to remember Welches putting out jelly jars in the late 70's that had nfl teams on them. Perhaps the lids are from those??

    Tom,
Did some research and found that you may actually have the 1971 Gatorade lids.

    $2-$3 a piece.
I'd be interested in the Browns if you have it available.

Bret, I'd rather get rid of them as a lot if possible. I have 24 lids...no dups...

    Bret,

Which area of SCF would it be suitable to post these on for sale or trade?

    Thanks again for your help.

    Tom
