Hey Pete,
Send him a 10 dollar check made out to "BAT", which is an organization that helps out down on their luck former big leaguers. I've gotten him 3 or 4 times, and this does the trick. I've see where people make check out to him, and he returns there stuff unsigned with a card. The first time I mailed him, a few years back, he signed my stuff, but sent info about BAT.

that seems to be a good cause. Im sure there are quite a few former players that have not made the best decisions in life. Plus, they did not make that much money back in the days.
Is the 10 bucks for anything? I am thinking about sending maybe a baseball. I also have been watching a vintage glove that I would love to get signed. Im thinking that I may get into that since I havent seen many people doing that.

Hey Guys,
I was in the hospital for a week getting a skin graft on my foot after getting burned with some potassium hydroxide at work. That sucks, but the cool thing is, I had many a gift waiting for me at home. I got my photo returned from Robin Roberts, signed in Black sharpie. He also sent a nice letter thanking my for the BAT donation. I think 10 bucks for a HOFer is a steal!
Also, I got request letters returned from Mr. Bouchee and Mr. Lepcio. I'm going with Curt Simmons next, then those two. I'll keep you guys posted,
Mike
