Look, the thing is that smart players do this while fighting for the ball or for position. This way it can always be argued it was a basketball move. Examples are last night and even Rondo on Miller. It's shocking and obvious, but it's what the league has been calling. Now when you get what Howard did, or Alston. That was AWAY from the ball, in totally unrelated actions. Bam, you can't use the "basketball move" argument anymore, and you are sitting out the following game.

You're right, it wouldn't. But since it was Kobe, there's gonna be a topic about it. Anytime a superstar does something like that, there's gonna be a topic about it.

i dont think the rule book suggests that Kobe should be suspended...i think the rule simply states if you use an elbow above the shoulders you should be ejected from that game

no just because all the other people are respectful where as you are all about lebron and thats it...its kind of like the nerdy geeky kid that no one talks to but yet he thinks hes better than everyone else in highschool
