How do you "prep" a glossy card?
I've heard people talk about how they 'prep' a glossy card before sending it out to get autographed. What does this mean and how do you do it? I have some HOF postcards that got signed and came back horrible because of the glossy coating. Also, is there a different marker for glossy cards?

Take baby powder and rub it all over the front of the card.
All you have to do now is take the baby powder off and then the talcum that is in the baby powder will stick onto the card.
The talcum is able to make the sharpie marker stick onto the card.
Feel free to try this out with a glossy base card that you don't want.

I've also heard of some using an eraser to rub the area where the auto is to go...also, although black sharpie is most popular, i've found that some fine tip paint pens work nice.

be sure to get all of the baby powder off too. it will look suspicious to the athelete if there is still some on the card.

Yeah, the last thing we need is an Anthrax scare coming from an SCF member.

Yeah. Lol that'd be bad.
Even though you take off the baby powder, the talcum will still be on the card. Just so you guys know.
