Wow, forgot I made a Saints team set after the Super Bowl last year, using images I took during the season. Here is an example:

That is a great looking card. The blurred out background in the photo just adds to the depth. Is that something you did or was the photo that way to begin with?
The one small thing I'm not keen on is the '2010' at the top of the card. Not sure what to replace it with, but I'm a big fan of the design.
Thanks for sharing.

Yeah, Im on the fence with the 2010. The blur is photoshop. I clipped the player out, blurred the background then put him back in. When I shot it, it wasn't NEARLY that blurred.

Here it is without the 2010.

First off - a great photo. It must be fun to get that close to the game and be able to snap some pics at the same time. Very cool.
I do like it better without the 2010. Seeing it now, I would suggest raising the border so that it sits higher up on the card (leaving less of the gray/black textured background) and either move the pic (and background) up a bit or scale it bigger slightly.
Again, a very nice card design.

Ok, I think I've nailed it down. I decided to title them 'sideline shots' since that's where I took the pictures. What do you guys think about this maybe making a cool set?

YES! Great theme, great title, great font (simple and effective) and great photos.
Very much looking forward to seeing more.
Nice stuff!

I love the photo. The blur works for me up top, but not down low (where his foot is on the ground). Is there a way to do a 'gradient blur'? Have it in focus at the bottom and then have it go more blurry as it goes up the card?
Killer pic!
