I always liked Quinn and he really seemed like a good guy. Wish he had more success as a pro.

I agree. He does seem like one of the genuine nice guys in the league. Success at this level just hasn't really panned out for him yet

Thanks & yes, the returns are alot sweeter when its an 8x10. really love getting those back but the failures sting that much worse. Thanks for the kind words about the customs. They work nice for what there intended for. Pretty basic. Although, havent had much luck with them, lot of folks been signing the backs of them even when i select good pictures that would look good signed on the front. Going to start asking in my letters for them to sign the front. Also have to consider, lot of these guys im sending to probably dont get much if any fan mail.

Joined this site just for this thread. I've only sent out 4 TTMs because I'm scared to death of losing my stuff but this thread motivated me. Went and picked up some envelopes, stamps, and 2 ROMLB's today as well as I think I'm going to send a "Jacobs Field" collectors ball to spring training for the Tribe hoping Lofton will sign it (and maybe talk Sandy, Belle, Baerga, hell anyone from the 95 team who is there)

its completely up to you but for him i sent $5 a card but its going to depend on him. You might send him $20 & he feels its only worth 3? never know.
