When i was 7 years old i met an older guy in his late 70's. As i got to know him and we talked about baseball he began to show me his amazing collection. He had autographed photos and baseballs of Ruth, Mantle, Dimaggio, Gehrig, Griffey etc. being 7 and seeing all this stuff was unbelievable. He knew how big of a Reds fan i was and hes pretty much who got me into collecting autographed memorabilia and gave me my first few pieces(Auto'd Johnny Bench, Sparky Anderson, & Pete Rose Baseballs..also gave me a framed picture of the 1989 Hall of Fame inducting class which included Bench also in the picture was every living HoF'er that was alive at that time.) Well this guy was also Stan Musial's High school baseball coach(also on the team was Buddy Griffey, Ken Griffey Jr.'s grandfather) and he stayed in very close contact with Musial until the day he passed away. So along with all the baseballs he gave me, he was also able to get me some Musial autos that i had kept in my parents attic since i joined the Air Force..I finally had my mom go up and get them for me and they finally came in the mail today, I'm very happy to finally have these back with me. Just thought i'd share em with everyone.

Robin Roberts HoF Auto
