Guess they should have done a little better research of the place, huh?

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. -- A Miami Heat jersey autographed by Shaquille O'Neal was one of the treasured items of sports memorabilia stolen from the Miami Beach home of a sports and entertainment agent in a midday burglary Wednesday.David Sugarman said surveillance video from eight cameras mounted outside and inside his home showed two masked men who were dropped off by a black Cadillac Escalade breaking in on Wednesday afternoon. Sugarman said the men spent half an hour stealing signed jerseys and other items. http://www.justnews.com/sh/images/ibs_icon/post/video.gif Video (http://www.justnews.com/video/24777659/index.html)

Sugarman did deals for O'Neal and countless others as a sports and entertainment manager, he said. The thieves stole some expensive items, but they left others behind."They didn't take the second baseman from the Yankees, Robinson Cano's jersey, which you would think (they would)," Sugarman said. The men did take Sugarman's own clothing and bottles of cologne. Police said the men brought tools to pop open a safe they found in a closet, and they grabbed bags and luggage to store their haul so they could take it away when they escaped in the Escalade.Police said that since it is not easy to tell what is inside the house from the outside, whoever stole the items must have been inside the home before.Sugarman thinks someone who attended one of his many parties might be to blame."I have athletes here and it's word of mouth, and we're entertaining," Sugarman said. "I believe probably somebody was here and they were walking around the house and saw all this cool stuff and said, 'I'm going to come back and get it.'"Miami Beach police are analyzing the surveillance tapes from Sugarman's home.
