I'm going to buy a box; which of the following should I pick up?

2004-2005 Fleer Ultra Hobby Box
2004-2005 Fleer Tradition Hobby Box
2004-2005 Skybox Hoops Hobby

which box has the best looking base cards? and which one has the most inserts/memorabilia cards? thanks in advance

none of those go for a spx, or authentic.

Dude...Fleer's in the tank. Any redemptions or damaged cards MIGHT NOT BE AWARDED or REPLACED!

If SPx or Authentic is too expensive, try a Topps product.

Yeah, I highly recommend something not Fleer, try Upper Deck.

I'd say go for Fleer Ultra, nice GU cards and rookies, but then again, I've never gotten a redemption, but I'd still say Ultra

Definitely don't go for a Fleer/Hoops/Skybox product because, as everyone's said, Fleer's going out of business and may not honor their redemptions. I say pick up something Topps if you need something cheap. Topps Luxury Box is sweet. You can find them online for about $80-$90 plus shipping. You get for 2 single or dual GU's, 2 triple or quad GU's, and an autograph per box. Great product. I've broke 3 hobby boxes and a retail blaster box so far. I absolutely love this product. I just got 2 more hobby boxes in the mail today and I'm gonna bust them in an hour or so (will post breaks after I do).

If you don't need something cheap, I say go for Upper Deck. There's so many different Upper Deck products to choose from and some are cheaper. You always got a chance for Jordan, Lebron, Kobe, KG, and legend Autos/GU with Upper Deck. I've been thinking of picking up some packs of Trilogy or Ultimate, but I can't decide between which to get. Both are pretty damn expensive though. :frown:

I like some Fleer stuff, but unfortunatelly they most likely will not warrant any redemptions from this point on, possible Civil Suits? We'll see...

we really need to have a group case break for topps finest

I agree fully. Ever since the other post, I've been thinking of picking up a box off beckett.com. I bought 5 boxes of it last year and really like the product. The collation sucks though. Out of those 5 boxes and 2 extra packs I bought, I still don't have a complete regular set. I'm missing 4 from the set, but have like 7 cards of multiple players (like 20 or so, I'd guess). Pretty crappy, if you ask me. Oh well, all I'm worried about are the Auto'd RC's, game-used, refractors, and draft redemptions anyway. The rest can go in the trash for all I care.
