Last weekend was probably one of my busiest weekend's of graphing that I have had in a long time since I been down here in West Virginia for school. Well since I picked up on a cluster of events that took place on the same weekend, I decided to combine the results in one big thread here. I got alot to share here so I will get right to it.

Brandon Webb in Ashland, KY 1/29/11

Got up early back on Saturday morning to attend the free autograph signing of current MLB player Brandon Webb. This is his hometown and from what I hear he resides there in the offseason. Only found out about this event with two days to prepare for it. Anyhow here is how I did with a former Cy Young Award winner over in Ashland:

Brandon Webb autograph signing in Ashland 1/29/11

Brandon Webb 8/8 cards, 2/2 SS OMLBs, 1/1 Rangers photo, *pic with* (Signed everything put in front of him on this day. One of the nicest MLB players that I have ever met.)

That is all I got to share from this day.

(ON A SIDENOTE: There is a member on here that I met at this signing. If you see this, please post in here or send me a PM. Thanks and it was nice to meet you at this signing.)

Charles Barkley in Beckley, WV 1/30/11

Was able to get up early on Sunday morning to make the two hour drive across the mountains and on the West Virginia Turnpike over to Beckley to attend this function that Charles Barkley was going to be speaking at. Given his signing history and habits in the past, I set my expectations real low on this and was hoping to get one autograph out of him. After he finished with interviews, they escorted Barkley into the room and table where he would be signing at. Once Barkley got to the table, he announced to the people waiting in line for autographs that he would do, "Two autographs per person." I was shocked to say the least given that you tube video I seen of him signing only one per in the past and calling people out for double dipping. Anyhow here is how I did with Barkley at this event over in Beckley:

Charles Barkley 1/1 Sports Illustrated magazine, 1/1 card, *pic with!!!* (Was in good spirits on this day. Signed two per for everyone and took pics with anyone that asked!!!)

Also at this event, I ended up having a nice lunch and was able to see Barkley speak. It was a great event to be at.

Otherwise that is all I got to share from that event. Thanks for looking!!!

Pittsburgh Pirates Winter Caravan Stop in Southern WV 1/30/11

After attending the event in Beckley, I made my way back up the WV Turnpike and stopped in Charleston, WV for the Pittsburgh Pirates Winter Caravan Stop. From what I heard it was the first time the Pirates had a caravan stop down here in a very long time. Anyhow the players arrived early to this event so I was in and out of there in about 15 minutes. Here is how I did with the Pirates over in Charleston, WV:

Pirates Winter Caravan Stop in Charleston, WV 1/30/11

(On a sidenote: I still wish that the Detroit Tigers would take notes from the Reds and Pirates on how to conduct winter caravan stops in the future.)

Clint Hurdle 8/8 cards, 5/5 cards (1 for psugator02, 4 for dylanphillies, 1 for DGautographs)
Garrett Jones 5/5 cards (2 for dylanphillies)
Brad Lincoln 1/1 PNC park card
James McDonald 6/6 cards (1 for Pats1fan, 1 for psugator02)

That is all I got from the Pirates on this stop in Southern WV.

Neil Walker was reported out sick so they sent Brad Lincoln in his place. No one found out until about one hour before this event started. Oh well for now.

Otherwise that is all I got to share here from this crazy weekend of graphing that I had from Ashland, KY-Beckley, WV. Thanks alot for looking!!!

Wow awesome stuff man! So if you had to guess would you say I'd be able to get Webb's autograph pretty easily down in Spring Training this year if I see him? Seems like a cool dude for sure

Looks like a great time; that's an awesome success on Barkley! Seems like he's pretty impossible to get. Congrats!

If you see him and if he comes over to sign, I don't think you would have a problem. Good luck with him in Spring Training this year...
