Is there another place I could post this?

The only #45 I could find from Phillies is Tug McGraw & Pedro Martinez and that signature isn't from either of those guys.

Thanks for the help!

Yeah, those are who came to mind, but I agree the auto doesn't look like either of those guys. I thought it might be David Palmer who wore #45 for the Phillies in like 1988 or there about, but his signature looks different too.

Maybe it was a minor leaguer ?

Yeah, I guess it could be.

Trouble is, this was bought from a lot out of an estate sale, so I couldn't ask the prior owner, lol.

Still looking for some help..

This could be a longshot, but it looks very similar to Danny Tartabull. He had a short stint with the Phillies back in 1997. There are some similarities to the signature..

I would agree with the above as it looks very similar to Danny Tartabull who wore #45 with the Phils.

I'm gonna look into that, thanks so much guys for what looks like an answer!

I found a funny quote about his time in Philly, wonder why someone had him sign a Phillies hat... lol

Want to understand what a free agent acquisition looks like to a Phillies fan? Meet Mr. Tartabull. This gentleman signed a one year $2.5 million dollar deal in 1997 and in his third game of the season broke his foot while fouling a pitch off. He never played baseball again. (See also Gregg Jefferies, David Bell) Tartabull contributed more to the Seinfeld show then to the Phillies.

I just don't know. Every other Tartbull autograph looks nothing like the 1990 Score or hat. I looked into Tartabull when I tried helping out before. The straight line for the first T is pretty distinctive in the others.

Oh, well, I will keep looking into this, but that seems like a really close match especially with the 45 and all. However, if I knew for certain, I wouldn't need to ask for help, so open to any other suggestions and I will keep trying to further verify Danny's auto.

look at this "Certified" auto card:

There are a lot of similarities. I looked at Tartabull a few weeks ago but didn't think it was him because of the first T I was seeing. Guys do change the way the sign sometimes. It very well could be him.

Bottom line, it's not worth much.

Bottom line, it's not worth much.

I never posted looking for an appraisal, but thanks for that.

I did say that I didn't know what it was worth, but I was only looking to identify it. Once that was done, the "worth" would be apparent.

What are you looking to do with it? I would be interested in trading/buying. Don't have a tartabull auto especially in phillies uni

I would trade or sell it, I don't have a price in mind so just make a trade or buy offer.

Look at Pete LaForest and Desi Relaford, those are the two closest signatures besides Tartabull who I dont think it is, to that signature
