I could not find this card on beckett.com
Therefore, I don't think it is a certified autograph from packs. Did you get it signed yourself? What is the embossing on the corner of the card say? Maybe if you can scan in the back, I can figure out what your card is.

the only topps auto i could find of hakeem was a 97-98 topps autograph with a bv of 40.00.. however that is not this card... did you buy it online? it looks like someone embossed it themself and sold it as a certified auto

on the corner it has SB (score board?) and it says Authentic Autograph around it, im not sure how i got it, actually i think i got it years ago from those Tv shows that sell random sports cards... the card is not numbered on the back

This is a 1992/93 Topps Hakeem Olajuwon card. However, it is not a certified autograph from Topps. I don't think they inserted autographs back then.

If the embossing says Scoreboard, it is very controversial. There are 2 possibilities:
1. This was autographed at a private signing by Scoreboard (not affiliated with Topps). ie. LEGIT.
2. There are stories on the net about how people bought Scoreboard embossers after SB went bankrupt. So they cranked up the forgeries. ie. FAKE.

It's really hard to say.

is there anyway it could be a buyback... or are all of those numbered?

It's not listed as a buyback anywhere on Beckett.com. The auto doesn't look authentic to me. It could have been signed in person quickly and later stamped with the SB stamp. Either way, I'm fairly certain it's a fake. The only way to know for certain would be to have it authenticated by PSA/DNA. Good luck with whatever you decide.
