I really hope RJ Johnson stands for Ray Jay.

You can call me Ray, or you can...

not sure if it is true or not, but considering all the things they have thrown at him this far, it would not surprise me if this was just a smear campaign against one of the few legit conservatives that threatens their presidential hopes of 2016.

And if it is true, you want to vote for someone who's as big a corrupt piece of crap as any politician.

if it were true, and he committed a crime, then he would not get my vote.

I am saying if the past is any reflection, this may all be just a smear campaign. I believe they had 3, yes 3, vote recounts.

From Ann Althouse, a legal professor in Wisconsin, in the comments of her post:

http://althouse.blogspot.com/2014/06/prosecutors-accuse-gov-scott-walker-of.html

The litigation is in the 7th Circuit on the First Amendment claim. The prosecutors seem to have proceeded on an aggressive reading of the state criminal law statute that includes the kind of "coordination" that can't be made a crime and that is in fact within a free-speech right of association. That's what the district judge said, and I expect that's what the 7th Circuit will say. That is, the "sweeping… scheme" is just a "scheme" to exercise first amendment rights.

So what you're saying then is this guy has a legitimate shot at going somewhere, so the Dems have started campaigning against him early.

Sort of like the Republicans with Hillary Clinton for the past the two weeks.

I guess the season has started and both conferences have taken aim at a top team in the opposing conference. Most assuredly, this spells action in the finals, er, election.

you are correct.

so not only do I have to decide who I want to vote for, I have to also decide what accusations are true, which will influence my vote.

Walker's fiscal policies kick butt, so I hope this is just an attempt to smear him.

but as we all know, these people have a way with doing dumb, unneeded stuff.

Didn't these cases get thrown out of court? Seems like some ugly politics to me.

Then why are Republicans putting in all the work? Is she actually a threat, or are our local conservatives really stupid and fighting a non candidate..?

Hilarity. Mountains and mountains of Hilarity. Remember when Santorum was going to win it all? That kind of hilarity.

Same thing that will come out of the opposing side....idiots no one wants in office, but what choice do we have besides picking the "least idiotic" option?

Scott Walker has like no shot at being the 2016 Republican nominee. The guy has the look and personality of a wet blanket. I'm going to guess that this would be an attempt to try and derail him at being reelected as governor in 2014. The polls have him even to a couple point lead over the other guy and with Rs getting a boost of about 5-7 points over what the polls are showing this year it might be a good idea to try and take him down now before it is too late.

If he doesn't win reelection he would basically be done for 2016 but like I said before even if he wins he isn't going to be much of factor in 2016 in my opinion. There are going to be a ton of guys trying to be the nominee early on and there is only so much space and room for them to take up. You can't have a field of 20+ people going on to state after state and I see no early states that would be favorable to Walker to keep him staying in. Maybe a VP pick? That I could possibly see.

He can't have less personality than Romney. Dole, Gore, and even Kerry had more personality than Romney.

Romney at least had the look of a movie President. Walker looks like he is derping out in every image I see of the guy.
