A lot of people are saying roy its really unknown for the next years players to me didnt see enough of them. I know is thers a lot of talk about tyrus thomas.

roy or foye....why? roy was the most nba ready player. the guy slashes, scores, and plays defense. he's tall and has a wingspan. foye tore up the summer league averaging like 25ppg, 2 steals per game, shot 50+% fg and roughly 87% from the line.

http://www.nba.com/rookie_rankings/

there's no reason NOT to pick one of those two.

Kobe (Nash is a great player too. Back 2 Back MVP)
Randy Foye
The Phoenix Suns if their main starters stay away from injury. If not the Heat or Bulls will win.

LeBron, although I like Wade a lot more
Brandon Roy - i've loved this guy since he was a freshman
No clue, probably the Spurs again. I dont think the Bulls are good enough, even with Wallace, but they'll be fun to watch.

Your the first one to not say M.j for the best player but give it a three way tie.I agree with you saying Wilt being one of the greatest players if not the greatest tough to decide between him and mj.

1. M.J. Dont no how it can be anyone else, he did so much for the NBA, he put them back on the map during a time the leaque was struggling.
2. LeBron He has a chance to be the best ever.
3. Tyrus Thomas
4. Mavs

jeremy17
08-24-2006, 05:47 PM
Last 2 people said Mavs I don't know if they can make it back all the way to the finals I think they got a lot of luck last year. And I don't think Dirk will be as good next year.

the mavs can they got a few new good players and have a good rc class with ager and mensah-bonsu.

And summer leagues determine how good a player is going to be in the NBA. Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.

mattyj
08-24-2006, 07:25 PM
remember Tskitisvilli? he tore it up in summer league....

remember LeBron? he sucked at summer league...

jeremy17
08-24-2006, 07:54 PM
I do agree with Mattyj and sportsguyryan about the summer league deciding a players future in the NbA but roy and foye are good players and have lots of potential.

jeremy17
08-24-2006, 07:56 PM
I think these players will be the top 5 next year in this order:
1.Thomas
2.Morrison
3.Aldridge
4.foye
5.roy
and 6. i'd say bargnani

mattyj
08-24-2006, 07:58 PM
LOL @ Potential...Potential is all well and good but Skita had potential...Luke Jackson had potential...Troy Bell had potential...Reece Gaines...i could keep going, but untill you proove anything its just potential

but i do feel those 2 could be good players

justsandersplease
08-24-2006, 08:00 PM
Stop me if you heard this one:

1. MJ
2. LeBron
3. Tyrus Thomas
4. Bulls

jeremy17
08-24-2006, 08:02 PM
justsandersplease thats exactly what me and leftyshen said so your picks were the best LOL just jokin and Mattyj you make roy and foye look like they have no potential in your last thread and then the last line you say but i do feel those 2 could be good players. What do you think of them cuz they do have potential espiacially foye playing alomgside with KG.Lol

mattyj
08-24-2006, 08:04 PM
i didnt say they have no potential...i said potential is a dangerous word and doesnt proove anything...which those 2 havent done, but all signs point to them being good players

mattyj
08-24-2006, 08:05 PM
well im not 100% sold on Foye but i do think Roy will be a good player

jeremy17
08-24-2006, 08:13 PM
Yes I know you didnt say the have no potential just made it sound like it in your thread. And im going to slightly change my picks.

By saying a tie with thomas and morrison saw some clips of morrison and hes awesome and add i'd like to add the bobcats will be a firehouse and a championship contending team with players like Okafor, may and morrison.

mattyj
08-24-2006, 08:15 PM
give the cats 3 years and they will be right up there...Felton, Wallace + the 3 you said...man thats some young talent, lets hope they can keep it...remember the early 90s mavs had Mash, Kidd, Jim Jackson & Popeye jones, didnt go anywhere and couldnt keep them all :(

jeremy17
08-24-2006, 08:20 PM
Yeh don't want the samething to happen with the mavs but if they do all become stars I cant see charlotte keeping them all just to much to pay them all.And do you know who the coach is cuz to me a contending team needs a good coach look at the mavs and heat right now. I'd say the 2 best coaches are right there on those 2 teams.

1.) Michael Jordan
2.) LeBron James
3.) Shawne Williams (Gotta Believe In My Team)
4.) Indiana Pacers (Same Reason As Above)
