Boykins Coming Home

Jun 18 - Mike Bibby can opt out of his contract this summer and become a free agent or he could agree to a sign-and-trade with the Cavs. Bibby, who has two years left on his current deal, is scheduled to make about $13.5 million next season. If a deal for Bibby doesn't happen, the Cavs could seek Milwaukee point guard Earl Boykins, who can decline his player option for $3 million next season to become a free agent on July 1. Boykins, a Cleveland native, has excellent speed, is a good distributor and he has an outside shot. Plus, according to several sources, Boykins is interested in coming back home. The Cavs do have their mid-level exception ($5.5 million) available but Boykins will certainly seek more compensation. The Cavs also could acquire Boykins through a sign-and-trade, where the Bucks would sign him to a deal and trade him to Cleveland. -- Cleveland Plain Dealer (http://www.cleveland.com/sports/plaindealer/index.ssf?/base/sports/1182155648262840.xml&coll=2)

Hmmm Bibby and Lebron might be scary. But I don't care where Boykins is from I doubt he's the answer the Cavs are lookin for. IMO
