Damon Stoudamire (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/profile?statsId=3009)'s buyout with the Memphis Grizzlies (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/clubhouse?team=mem) is complete, but it is no longer a virtual certainty that he'll be joining the Boston Celtics (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/clubhouse?team=bos) on Thursday.

That is because the San Antonio Spurs (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/clubhouse?team=sas) have changed the equation.

As a Spurs Fan, I would welcome him. Tony Parker and Jacque Vaughn are struggling. Of course, I thought Nick Van Exel was going to be helpful. That wasn't the case....

I am thinking it will come down between Boston and Phoenix. I dont see Mighty Mouse returning to Toronto because Celtics and Suns have a better chance of getting to the Finals this year.

Celtics, Denver, Orlando are all hurting for a point guard. Mighty Mouse still has some game in him when he gets the minutes.

Spurs are in negotiations to sign him. With Parker being out for the next three weeks, they need him.
