Report coming from the Houston Chronicle that Yao will miss the rest of the season because of a stress fracture in his left foot. Houston is currently riding a 12 game winning streak and this news would be a devastating blow to their playoff chances.

Sad to say, but the Rockets are done. With Tracy McGrady not at 100%, I doubt Houston can overtake Denver, Golden State, and even Portland for the seventh and eighth seed.

That REALLY sucks for Houston, I was hoping they could actually make it to the 2nd round this year.

They still won tonight to extend their winning streak to 13 games. However, it was against an injured Wizards team. I don't think they will be able to keep up in the Western Conference playoff race without Yao.

I agree. Tmac will have to shoulder the load. If he goes down, its definitely over for them! 25 games left for Houston.

t-mac needs to drive more, defend, and hit is friggin' free throws too. He's hitting only 69% this year. What up with that!

They hit 15-game winning streak. Maybe they can pull it off without him.

He was having a great season. They need him for the playoffs but ehh they are still playing great without him.

I think they will lose the streak soon and be a #4 or #5 seed
