I'm really into scouting out prospects ahead of time to know what's coming.

So in doing that I was looking at a mock NBA draft for 2004 at www.nbadraft.net.

Well I came across this guy!

An 18 year old, 305 lb 7'3" Korean high school player.

This guys has a huge frame!
I imagine we will be hearing about Ha Seung-Jin Soon!

check it out!

That guy will be the #1 pick next year.

Man, where do they find these people. He's only 18 so he could possibly grow even taller and bigger.

Damn the guy is huge! I wonder if the NBA draft age changes will effect his ability to enter in the 2004 draft?

Your right. Didn't they say that after James gets drafted that they will change the age from having to be at least 21 before somebody can draft you?

They can't do that...why you might asks??

Three out of the top five MVP runners this season came straight out of high-school (Tracy McGrady, Kobe Bryant, Kevin Garnett).

They couldn't risk stars like this developing in the NBA.

Well I don't agree with it either but that is what they are looking to do next season.

There was a segment on eBay about this guy. I hear he's better than Yao.

it's part genetic..but very rare to have Asians be that big.

Yao's mom and dad are both well-above average size, as they both played for the Chinese basketball teams of their respective male and female leagues.

wow, is that Korean dude huge!!

How's his mobiility and his shooting touch?

Shawn Bradley is pretty big, 7'6", but he can't play worth a darn.

Same for Manute Bol, and Gheorge Muresan

I think it's that there has been a significant improvement in nutrition in many asian areas in the past 50 years. For most people before that it was just rice.

This obvious difference with this guy from Bol and Bradley is that he has a huge frame! He's not even 18 and he is already over 50 lbs heavier than both of those guys.

I think we will be seeing many more Asian players in the NBA especially since they need more big men.

I don't think this go is going to be Bol especially since that guy was basically a stick and Bradley isn't much bigger than that either.

this guy can be a good pick up for a NBA team as for the age limits I believe this only affect US players International players can still come in at 18 which isnt right but like most our parents told us at one time Life isnt fair.

For the NBA to initiate an age limit, it would have to be agreed upon with the Players Association. I severely doubt that will happen.
