Well, I thought I would share my newest piece of OU Memoribilia. This is easily one of my top 5 favorites, and possibly the most valuable as well.

Every year, Adrian Peterson has a Charity Auction, that raises money for an organization. He auctions off different items. This year was no different. (It was last month)

This year, for the main event, A.D. got on stage with 20 "on canvas" pictures (look liek paintings) Each picture was different, and each was a rendering of an actual photo. (Lifelike) The "paintings" were also numbered 1 thru 20. For $5,000 you could go on stage and get your pic taken with A.D. and then he would personally autograph the painting with an inscription...and the painting was yours. He sold 3 of them at $5,000. So, then, he said...for $2,000 you can come on stage, and get your pic taken while he is autographing the picture. He sold 4 more for $2,000

So, then there were 13 left. Of the remaining 13, He autographed 5 of them, and then left 8 unsigned. In the lobby, the paintings were offered for sale. $500 for an unsigned picture, and $1,000 for the auto'd. All remaining 13 paintings sold. At this time, I didnt feel like dropping $1,000 on a painting.

Fast forward to this last Saturday. (My Birthday.) I was surprised to receive one of the pictures for my B Day. My Uncle had purchased one of the auto'd pictures for me without my knowledge. It is numbered #4/20 Hand signed by Adrian Peterson. It is abesolutley gorgeous!!!!!!! It doesnt look big.......but its 4 feet tall, and 3 1/2 feet wide. Framed canvas!!! The frame is dark black wood, and the matting is 100% genuine leather. (red) Pics just dont do it justice!!!!!!!
