My Father has a Elston Howard Auto on a 8x10 black and white photo from 1966. It says Best Wishes Pete Elston Howard. Would something like this sell even though it has my fathers name on it? PSA/DNA want $75 to authenticate it but my Dad just wants to get rid of it for what we can get. What should I be asking for this with no certificate? How do you ship pictures?

Any help would be great.

There have been a few on Ebay and they seem to sell around $100. One of them sold for $99 without a COA. Most of the time the COA helps the value but if it is $75 to authenticate then it might be tough to get all of you money back from the authentication. You may need the COA in order to sell it but you can try without. The personalization will normally lower the value (unless you find another Pete). When you ship it make sure it is placed between two pieces of cardboard and have it stamped with do not bend.
