You know, I was browsing through a baseball beckett issue and I was really quite shocked when looking through the pages. It is kind of crazy how back in the day there was only the base set and maybe an extra subset within each brand. Nowadays, it seems like each brand has so many different things you can get in each pack. I honestly think that sometimes it is almost too much and it would have been easier to collect back in the day. It seems that cards are over produced and makes collecting quite hard when trying to get sets completed and getting every card of every player collected. Having 1/1 makes it a heck of a lot harder as well. I just think that it would be nice to have it like it was back then. I know there may not be the excitment of getting these things in packs, but not saying there doesn't have to be. Maybe one or two brands could do that or maybe throw an occaisonally autograph into the brand rather than what it is now.
