I'm a Wolves fan who now owns a Lakers Replica Throwback Jersey (hence crappy screen printing) and Celtics jersey, but I don't own a Wolves jersey yet! Epic fail really.

Upside? I got my first Isaiah Rider jersey today and I am happy, happy, happy about it! I really want to get a Wolves one, so I'll have to be on the look out for that. If anybody see's a Wolves Rider jersey XL - 2xl (48 to 52) anywhere I can purchase, please let me know.

In other news, I am now only 78 cards away from having the Malik Sealy Master Collection, although I doubt I will come across the printing plates or 1/1's, I still hope to get as close to complete as possible. I have a complete wantlist, should anybody think they may have something that could help, just let me know and I can send it to you.

I'm always on the look out for Wolves cards, base to higher end, feel free to hit me up if you have something you think I might be able to use. I'm open to considering buying and or trading, and I am opening up more of my collection to trade if it can help me, especially with my Rider and Sealy collections.

Well that's it for now, have a great day folks :)

Got my first solo Corey Brewer Auto from Dave earlier this week. As usual he continues his generosity. He included the auto and an Al Jefferson relic as freebies in with a Tyreke Evans RC auto I was sending to the Netherlands for my Rider package. Dave is an absolute champion!

Now onto the Al Jefferson Relic card, its yet another from the 07/08 SPx set...

Interestingly enough, Celtics green scans so ugly on both of the scanners I've ever used. A bit like baby poo really. Shame, cos I like Celtics green.

Now the next package I am looking to get is my huge package of Rider's, that I will be opening live and posting on youtube. Possibly something from Canada (Canucks hockey cards) and some more Wolves base from an Aussie friend before then.

The Rider package is GOING to be huge.

Until then, take care my friends in the hobby!

Today this Tasmanian reached 2641 total Timberwolves cards, not a bad effort for somebody who probably couldn't be further away from Minnesota (and the weather a heck of a lot milder).

Relic cards moved up to 268 in total - won't be long and I will have reached the 300 mark, which I would consider a pretty fair achievement.

So the highlights from today would be my newest KG GU card a dual with Randy Foye - meaning it counts as a Timberwolves card also!

Also added another to the Al Jefferson collection, but I was more stoked to get my first Jonny Flynn cards!

In other news, have been chatting with a US based journalist who contacted me last year about my Timberwolves collection. He seemed to think there was a story in the size of my collection and my distance from Minnesota. It would be really cool if something more did come from it, so hope the pitch receives a warm reception.

I vaguely have this idea of collecting all things Minnesota in the big 4 sports, despite the fact I love my Cowboys, Canucks and A's. Guess it's just one of those random appeals to me. Regardless of what else I do, I think I might start an Adrian Peterson collection, because I do like that kid!

This is Wolvey signing off, peace out!

So had myself a mailday yesterday and I didn't add too much to the PC, but I did add my 110th Timberwolves auto, plus my first Ramon Sessions Auto from UD Lineage... and it pays homage to one of my favourite years of Upper Deck (because it was at the peak of card popularity here in lil old Tasmania - when you could find a box of basketball cards in every newsagent, plus specialty stores).

The 110th Timberwolves auto was my 3rd Kevin Love. 09/10 Bowman 48

This is the package I had been waiting on for a while, I was relieved to say the least when it finally arrived. Should have some new Garnett's in late next week if the postal service works as efficiently getting to me from Minnesota as it worked getting my cards too Minnesota.

Think this is quite possibly the first deal I've ever done with somebody in Minnesota itself, and look forward to doing many more deals. I love coming across Timberwolves collectors, because I love helping them out. I have so many duplicates of Timberwolves cards dating back to their first season in the NBA that it's nice to finally be able to share the love. Am also quite happy trading in the favour of other people when its a trade of duplicates, because I just want to share the Timberwolves love.

Til next time, this is Wolvey signing off!

Don't half mind the design.

Those that know my collecting habits well, know that I love base just as much as the higher end stuff and so I have decided to slowly add base scans to my photobucket. This will also help me in my effort to become a Timberwolves super collector (once I feel ready to submit I will apply - rather not write up a list for 2600 odd cards... would rather scan).

Debating whether to include base scans of Rider and Garnett and Jefferson in this folder or not, as it would create duplicates in my bucket. Probably leaning towards not doing that for the time being.

Although scanning 2000 or so cards is going to be fun (insert sarcasm here)! I've never managed to complete the scans for my website, but perhaps for photobucket I'll manage it.

Love those Wolves.

It's kinda nice, although not the biggest fan of manufactured patches.

Just the fifth Kevin Love I have and three of Al Jefferson to bring his total up to 49 total cards (Wolves and Celtics).

The cards of the big man in town:

24/25

and my 4th autographed card of Big Al

I'm still waiting on my Kevin Love and Ramon Sessions autographs, and I do worry they won't show up given they were supposedly sent before these arrivals were (same Australian state at that). Also waiting on some unrelated card packages from the US and its getting to the point that I'm starting to wonder about the post office sorters.

Well that's it for today's Timberwolves blog.

So today I did a recount of my Timberwolves collection, after having finished scanning a few PC cards that had just been sitting waiting to be put away since July.

So today I did a recount of my Timberwolves collection, after having finished scanning a few PC cards that had just been sitting waiting to be put away since July.

The official count is 2601 total different cards including 3 1/1s, 108 Autographs and 261 relic (ball, floor, jersey, patch,) cards.

Currently waiting on my third Kevin Love autograph and a Bucks Ramon Sessions Autograph to go into my folder under autos of players who have played for the Wolves, but not in a Wolves uni. I have several nice autos in that section including this Donyell Marshall manufactured patch auto:

It's just a shame Rodney Carney has the crappest autograph I have ever seen by an NBA player, or this exquisite might look a little better:

Now I think there are a couple Timberwolves players that have some really nice Autographs, when they take the time to sign. Kevin Love being one:

I have seen some nice Johnny Flynn autos out there, but also some pretty dodgy ones. I don't actually have a single Flynn card yet, as I am just returning from a card trading hiatus that started in July. Hope to pick up some cards of his, and especially one of his nice autographs.

At the moment my main goal is to complete a deal for 80 Isaiah Rider cards, which would push me over 400 - not bad for a guy who only has 528 listed by Beckett. So I'm looking to sell some of my PC, preferrably non Wolves whether it be my Marvin Williams exquisite or some of my Devin Harris Autos and as a last resort, one of my KG autos.

Well that's today's edition of Wolvey's Timberwolves blog!
