so after a long absence from the hobby, i have come back to find it completely different than from when i left it. i find myself totally overwhelmed by the amount of stuff that has been released and the by the high end products that are out there now. packs and boxes of new stuff for $100-$400 a pack?!?!?! that's really incredible. back when i collected i would buy a few packs at a time because i couldn't afford that much then. haha, now i find myself in the same exact situation.

i was able to track down a couple of good card stores here in sacramento to get some product. i'm pretty happy that one of the stores carries hockey cards. my return to the hobby will start with hockey. we'll see about the other sports.
