I had a conversation with my wife recently, and she asked me what cards I would love to own. When asked, I really had no idea. We sat down and talked about it, and decided to come up with a list, a goal of sorts to shoot for. I decided it might be cool share my story, and progress to other collectors, for inspiration, something cool to read, or so on. So here is my adventure to obtain my dream collection.

I, like many collectors i assume, have little disposable income. At the beginning of this year eBay was having a promotion, was like 100,000 free listings or something crazy. I scanned and listed a few hundred low end cards, rookies and some inserts, as its all I had left after selling out a year or so before. Sold quite a bit amazingly. Made $100 and some change after fee's. I used that money, found a great deal on the forums, sold it and made some more. Skipping ahead to today. I now have around $600 in total sale value / PayPal. I've done this by being honest with people, and not being greedy, and working my @$$ off. I love this hobby, the people are generally great, and its a blast to collect with my wife. The plan is to continue to buy/sale/save/trade till we own as many cards on our growing list as possible.

here is our list of "dream cards" some are the same as a lot of collectors, but some not so much. Will add notes, if there incoming when possible.
