Well to catch up on the past couple weeks, I'll talk about my trip to Canada with the girlfriend and the Oilers and Oil Kings hockey games.

We drove from Oregon up to Edmonton which is a 17 hour drive. The good thing is we're still not sick of each other, lol. Besides winning at 5 pin bowling, miniature golf, and everything else against her...we went to an Edmonton Oilers game and Edmonton Oil Kings game.

I must admit, Rexall is a great arena to watch hockey in. It looks like there isn't a bad seat in the arena but we had 100 level seats about 15 rows off the ice so it looked especially nice.

In between the 1st and 2nd period an usher came up to our seats and asked us if we were from Oregon. They must have known from the credit card purchase of the tickets. We said of course and they gave us tons of free Oilers and Oil Kings stuff. We got an Oil Kings button, a mini retired number flag of Glenn Anderson from the Edmonton Oilers, and some thundersticks. That was really nice of them and I would have never expected that. I've been to sporting events around the country and never had the teams do that kind of things for me before. I really appreciated their generosity.

Some Canadian things I'll miss will be Boston Pizza, Tim Horton's (although I have one near my house in Connecticut too), and the love of hockey. I love hockey, always have, and there isn't any teams near me in Portland besides the Junior League team and I love NHL games. Driving to Vancouver or Sacramento wouldn't be very fun.

But watching hockey in Canada was an experience in itself. My girlfriend says she plans on moving back to Canada someday and you know what? From the great experience I had there with the people, I wouldn't mind it. Canada is a great country from going through Edmonton and Calgary and interacting with people there to the beautiful landscapes of driving through Banff, Canada embedded a great impression into my mind.

This blog is full of good news and bad news. I'll start with the bad news because I want to end things on a happier note.

The bad news is that I have kidney stones, again. 6th time in my life, I'm 23 years old, and otherwise healthy. Not fun at all, lots of pain and painkillers. So here I am posting the blog feeling a bit nauseous from painkillers and really tired even though I've slept 18 hours the past two nights.

Good news, is while I was up GameStop was open and I was able to pick up MLB 09: The Show. This is the most amazing and realistic baseball game ever created. I'm so happy my friends pitched some money together to get me a PS3. This game alone is worth it, and my friend Andy agrees. He might buy one just for the game.

More good news is that my case of 2007 Benchwarmers Gold Edition should be coming in tomorrow. Hopefully. I noticed on the itinerary thing from where I bought the case they may have spelled my address wrong. If that's the case, it may delay shipping and it might not arrive here all together. Let's hope that doesn't happen as I want to open it up and see what's in there! I've never bought a case of anything before and I got a good deal plus tax refund money so it's all good.

So tomorrow I'm hoping for my case, hoping to pass my kidney stone, and hoping I feel well enough to have fun spending Saturday with the lady friend. If I'm not feeling good, it won't be as fun for me but she doesn't mind watching movies all day. I won't be eating popcorn and might sleep the whole time but it's quality time spent together I guess, lol. She can help me sort the Benchwarmer cards....I think she would be into that, she's not very uptight which is great. Really, she's the best.

Anyway, need to take some more Zofran (anti-nausea medicine) and possibly some more Ibuprofen before bed. Hopefully I don't need the morphine tonight.

Hopefully tomorrow is a better day!

First, I am excited that in a week, MLB 09: The Show comes out for Playstation 3. The greatest series of baseball video games is back! Mmm...tasty.

Besides that I am sitting at work right now waiting for something interesting to happen. I get a break in about 10 minutes which is nice. I don't know what I will do to spend my time though.

I'm thinking of putting some money aside for some basketball singles. I want to pick up autographs of Trailblazers players. Oden, Aldridge, Roy, Bayless, and Rudy mostly. That would be a nice start to a Blazers autograph collection. I have added to my Carolina Hurricanes collection recently while in a case break pulling a Cam Ward/Eric Staal/Justin Williams triple autograph #d/10. It's nice.

I'm also getting ready to head up to Canada for Spring Break with my girlfriend. She is Canadian and lives down here in Oregon so I'd go meet her family and such. Scary much? Yeah, totally. I'd be driving through Vancouver over to Edmonton as she lives north of Edmonton I believe. It's like some 20 hour drive or something. I've never been in a car more than 8 hours. That might be the hardest part. I guess you'd know how well you work with someone after sitting in the car with them for 20 hours. It should be a lot of fun though,
I've actually never been to Canada.

Blog Numero 2 is complete.

Yes, I am going to blog. This is my first one and I have no idea what to write about so I will just write.

I have recently stepped down from my Senior Management position on this site because it was something that wasn't very enjoyable for me. I knew someone who would be great and everyone agreed and so far I hope he's doing well in his new role.

Now I am pretty much some sort of Senior Advisor dude. I advise the rest of the staff on issues that need to be handled as well as I am currently in the process of making the rules a little more understandable as I guess people are having trouble with them. I think it would help if people actually read the rules instead of learning about them when they break them...but I know I don't read the Terms of Service when I join sites or anything so I don't blame them. Plus ours is like a book anyway.

So I'm in the process of doing that along with other rules issues being given to me at the same time. I recently created a set of rules for chat with guests and something else which I forgot what I did.

Hopefully I'll have those finished for everyone in the next week or two. I've been busy with finishing my degree, my real job, my new girlfriend, and other random things. Remember, we don't really get paid money to do this so sometimes it gets put on the back burner.

Anyway, I need to get to bed. I have to get to class tomorrow and wake up early for my girlfriend to stop over on her way home from work to say hi and hang out for an hour or so. Later peeps.
