2. 1980 Topps Magic/Bird/Erving RC - GOT IT

I won a SGC 88 NM/MT card off Ebay last week. So far this crappy economy is a blessing to me. I won if for around $160.00 My RC wish list is moving along nicely. I'm thinking of taking a break for a few months because I'm working on some other sets at the moment that I would really like to finish. I've been working on a '72 Topps set that's about 50%, and I started building the '07 Chronology Timeless Memories set. Like most collectors, I always have several sets I'm building at the same time.

1. 1986 Fleer Michael Jordan RC - GOT IT

I finally picked this one up in late January on Ebay for $1,016.00. It's graded PSA 9 with almost perfect centering (50/50 L-R and 60/40 T-B). 4 sharp corners and perfect edges. Small fisheye on the blue name background. That's probably the only thing that kept it from a 10. It's the most I've ever paid for a single card, but it was well worth it in my opinion.

Jordan's RCs in PSA 9 have fallen to approx. $1,000 - $1,050. Two BGS 9's sold on Ebay for $1,125 and $1,310. Thepit.com's last sale was $825. I will adjust the average price from $1,200 to $1,100. Purchase date shifted to APRIL 2009!

Timeline shifted to the left! I had some successful Ebay sales this week including a PSA 9 Montana RC for $305.
