General discussion on sports and assorted other matters.

  1. Like shuffling a deck of cards

On Monday, the WWE will hold its annual "draft", which is little more than a public reassignment of some of their talent from one brand to another. However, WWE Chairman Vince McMahon needs to realize that he also has to make changes among the figureheads in charge of those brands, and the shuffling that has taken place this week isn't enough.

Ever since acquiring Perez in a mid-season deal in 2006 en route to ending Atlanta's run as the Beast of the NL East, the Mets have seen him at his best and his worst. Unfortunately, more often than not, it's his worst. ...
  4. Entrance to the blogosphere

I'm 46, single (though I do have a girlfriend), and I work in insurance. Collecting sports cards is the only hobby I have left, since I retired from comics a year ago. I'm also into wrestling, and have gone to some live shows over the years. I've been writing a regular column for a wrestling website for 3 years now (, but now I intend to share my thoughts on wrestling, as well as sports in general, with all of you. The door's ...
