3-12-2012 AKA the day of the Stras

Rate this Entry
I'm pretty bored right now,
so i figured i'd share with SCF my day in cards

I woke up at 5 am Almost unable to breathe. Apparently i have Asthma.

Anyway i went to the DR around 12 went through the whole Rigamrole, got my RXs..(4 of them) and was on the way to my local CVS which is on the same corner of my local card shop (Woods CV Sports in East Patchogue NY) and i was feeling pretty depressed not being able to breathe and all so i did what i usually do when i feel down... buy some cards, of course.

Before i went in i check my wallet

39 Bucks

ok if i spend 20 on cards that's not so bad right?

So i'm in there talking to the owner and another Reg., i tell them both to get on SCF, the other guy leaves and i can start to feel....that feeling... that feeling when i'm around sealed boxes of cards for too long... that feeling where i black out and wake up 35 minutes later after 4 box breaks

Oh no.

So i ask the owner to let me owe him 40 bucks and i'll give him 60 now for a topps 2010 chrome box..... I'm in there enough to have my own tab, so he says sure

i break the box

Tyler Covin Auto
Allen Craig Auto
Nothing Numbered under 999

ok... i can't leave on that note

I say " let me owe you 100 and i'll take the other (last) one?"

He goes "ahhhhh.... Sure why not."

First pack i open
Joey Votto 206 /50

Ok thats more like it

Eric Young Jr. Auto

-.- Dammit

Redemption card?...better flip it over

S-T-E-P-H..... Hmm could it be? E-N S-T-R.... OH MY GOD IT IS!

Finally after buying atleast 20 boxes of those warped, scratched, Insidious little Chromes i pulled him.

Oh and after that

I pulled a Zach Grenkie Gold Refractor /50 :)
