All I hear is a bunch of tired (and probably drunk ) Aussies are falling over themselves from exhaustion because they are too insecure in their manhood to call timeout. In all reality, Rugby is nothing more than a homosexual orgy with an odd number of balls.
We give our athletes solid heads, turning them into projectiles, and a very thin shield so that they don't end up dead from a hit from the athlete in the helmet. We have breaks, not because we are tired, but because we are trying divvy up the bounties earned by the defense. Oh, and for commercial breaks, because people actually watch our sport.
I know you are trying to "educate" us, but if worldly knowledge was important to Americans, we would have fixed our education system a long time ago.
Tired? They're not tired, they can play the 80 minutes because they are athletes. No timeouts are needed.

And you Yanks need to the commercial breaks because you have short attention spans - whereas when we watch sport we can watch if for prolonged periods because of our superior minds.

As for the homosexual orgies, you Yanks are the guys who slap each other on the rear ends on a regularly as a regular part of the sport, and the WRs and CBs slap each other away after the snap. At times it's a bit like Queer as Folk - not that there is anything wrong with that.
Patriotism, my country is the best because I was born there ;P...Regardless of Sexual orientation, you have to be a bad to be a professional in most any sport, including U.S. or Aussie FB...or maybe just a bit of an underdeveloped ego....American FB lineman and linebackers who have been using there helmets as weapons, are coming up with one injury that is irreparable, the brain...just ask JR Seau...well no you can't, he shot himself cause his brain was turned to mush...yeah he proved he was a tough guy, but....

Actually Rugby is a well respected sport and has proven to be extremely powerful. Anyone recall how it changed a nation here in South Africa back in 1995?
Rubgy 7's will also be returning to the Olympics which is a bonus I reckon.
Sure we all have our preference for sport but I very much doubt any of you would have the bottle to confront Sonny Bill Williams or Beast Mtawarira and kindly inform them that they have been involved in a homosexual orgy!
Here's a taste of the Beast in action:

There's always going to be Bias in this arguement. Not many people from the U.S. have ever seen a Rugby game but grew up on football and i'm sure it's the same for Rugby fans. I don't think it matters which is better...the fans will remain faithful!
