This update comes a little late due to my recent work schedule. Between that & Christmas I really didn't have much to spend for the final month of 2012, but I was able to pick up a few items.

The month started off with a quick deal on SCF for Carl's 2006 SP LEGENDARY CUTS base card. It also included a trade from a good friend in Australia who made time to send me some cards while getting ready for the ABL All-Star Game that was going on nearby. The new additions from the trade included the 1976 SSPC issue & a beautifully made custom card of Carl based on the 2006 Allen & Ginter release that was created from another member here on the site!

Midway through the month I was able to pick up Carl's 2012 Panini Cooperstown Collection base card from one of the featured box breaks here on SCF! It was definitely worth the SASE that I sent for it!

The final week of the month was rather depressing as Christmas didn't add any new cards to the collection & I also finally heard back from Carl's agent informing me that asking him to sign my index card signed by his son Mike would be an inappropriate request. So it looks as if my quest of obtaining an item signed by all three generations is going to be a lost cause. One final trade here on SCF came in on the 30th to pick up my spirits though, as it contained some added cards that I wasn't expecting. They included the 1990 Donruss mini puzzle card & the 2012 Panini Cooperstown Collection Famous Moments card! Both of which helped keep my current position for SuperCollector status!

Well, that's it for 2012...Here's hoping that 2013 is just as good if not better than 2012 in adding to my collection!
