Damaged Cards/D&A Disappointment

Rate this Entry
I started collecting 2016 football cards after not even looking at a card for over 15 years so I'm new to Panini. I've bought a small fortune in cards over the past few months and I am overwhelmed in a bad way over how many damaged cards I've gotten. Every other time I buy cards I get a damaged insert or hit. Does anyone have any good stories about Panini doing something nice for you as a result of too many damaged cards or am I screwed? Also, anyone feel like they've been tricked by Dave & Adam's sales prices? I bought 2 boxes of 2016 Unparalleled football and in each box I got a Jaelon Strong mem card and a Demarcus Robinson mem card (one was a auto). No good hits or inserts. After I was able to put the gun down, I tried 2 more boxes at $100 a piece from my hobby shop and got 2 nice hits and beautiful low numbered insert. 2nd box bosa/thomas dual patch to 5, shepard dual patch, and a jerry rice insert 2/5. No good autos but some great low numbered cards of star players. Big big difference.

    1) for the damaged cards, if you have the receipts and the box, you can contact Panini about getting the cards replaced. They do have a damaged section on their home page.

    2) On the boxes, there are good boxes and not so good boxes. It does suck when you don't get a good box, but not every box is going to be good. Speaking from experience with older Panini hockey products, I have had consecutive boxes out of cases that have yielded similar players/subsets.

Thanks, I know about the replacement system I was more wondering if Panini has done a little extra for someone to compensate for the grief of spending the kind of money we do and getting damaged cards in return and to then have to wait a cruel 8 to 10 weeks to get the good ones.

Pretty much figured I'm gambling when it comes to buying cards haha

i have never had anything replaced with Panini, so I can't speak to it.
