Patriots vs. Steelers 12/16/2018 recap

Where to start on this slop fest of a game (from both teams actually) about with the highlights:

    1. DEFENSE: The defense actually played outstanding in this game, which is highly encouraging. They limited AB and Juju to 4 catches and under 50 yards each, which is amazing. I thought Gilmore and all the DB's played outstanding in coverage. The downside however is that lingering rush defense issue. They continue to get gashed on the ground, which is not encouraging at all. However, they gave up 17 points to an excellent offense that was in desperate need for a win, so I must tip my cap to the defense overall.

    2. OFFENSE: Pathetic. Absolutely zero fight. Aside from a blown coverage on their first drive, they did little to nothing. Brady is continuing a trend of bonehead plays in the red zone, which is very un-brady like. Gronk went back into hiding. Josh Gordon didn't get involved at all. Neither did James White. This offense looked like it was week 2. I have no idea what the heck Josh McDaniels was trying to do on offense, but it looked like crap. Not to mention the penalties: what in the world were they thinking yesterday with these false starts and holds? Talk about shooting yourself in the foot. Overall pathetic showing on offense yesterday, I haven't seen them look that incompetent in a late-season game with huge playoff implications in years.

That game was garbage...They weren't clicking and they allowed the defense to pressure Brady. We all know that if Brady gets pressured He's not on point. Josh Gordon will now be a non factor as He's leaving for suspension, yet again... Let's see what the next couple weeks hold...
