Mendenhall carried for 1,681 yards and 17 touchdowns. He injured his hamstring during the Steelers' minicamp, but it's not expected to be serious.

The Pittsburgh Steelers today released former Purdue wide receiver and return man, Dorien Bryant, after he reportedly failed a team physical on Friday.

whose to say Parker will even be 100% coming off his injury?..i think Woodley will do just fine,it's Timmons i'm not sure about...only thing he's done was take out Ricky Williams on his comeback LOL...you mentioned Willie and his feelings about Mendenhall being ther, what do you think Hines is feeling with Sweed on the team?..

With all of the hubbub from Ben's request for taller receivers I can't really say. I just hope that Ward/Holmes/Sweed can make a triple threat. Each would need 60 to 70 catches to make a credible threat. None of it will matter if the running game isn't there. Now if they can have a TE catch 60 to 70 receptions we could spread the field.

The question for any of you is, Which rookie will make an impact this year?
