I am new to Sports Card Forum, but I'm certainly not new to the hobby. I've been collecting since 1990, when I was 8 years old. Initially I only collected baseball cards, but eventually branched out into collecting all four American pro sports: Baseball, Football, Hockey, Basketball.
I joined SCF to buy/sell/trade, stay current on the hobby, discussions and debates, and of course I'm here to see a bunch of pictures of wicked cool & ultra rare cards.
As far as selling & trading, I can't stand eBay anymore, even if it does get us the most potential for making sales and getting traffic to our items for sale. But the lack of seller protection led to me getting ripped off over and over by cheap scammers and eBay kept taking their side even with my perfect feedback & seller rating. Facebook is a lot of people complaining about the price you're offering your cards for sale at, and they have no intention of buying. I don't know why so many people expect the best deal on every single card, every single time, in perpetuity throughout the universe. But here's what you'll get with me if you buy from me:
- I sell all my cards at less than current comp pricing, and I'll always include the cost of shipping in the price.
- I ship same day, every single time.
- Shipping cost includes sleeve, top-loader, bubble mailer, and postage which includes tracking, every single time.
- All of my cards are guaranteed. If you get a damaged card, or if you feel you were misled about the condition of a card you send the card back to me and I give you a full refund including the cost of sending the card back to me.
- I trade on the honor system. I expect you to be as respectful of this hobby as I am, so I expect to be able to send my half of the trade out, and to receive your half in a reasonable amount of time. Anything less and I'll report your name to admins, and I expect you to do the same to me.
- You will NEVER see me selling anything unopened. If I get my hands on an unopened Panini Prizm blaster box you had best BELIEVE it's gonna be me who opens that mugfug.
