    Pen/Marker Recommendation for McFarlane package

Hi, I am going to a signing this coming weekend and planning to have a McFarlane figure in it's original packaging, signed. I am wondering which is the best pen or marker to use on the shell? I have seen pictures of other signed McFarlane outers which have a bright blue (I believe affectionately known as a Smurf marker), which looks really cool, but I am not sure what it is. Possibly a light blue deco?

Or should I just use a silver or gold deco paint pen?

    What does everyone think?

    Thanks

Gotta be the deco....ive seen a bunch and they turn out better than any other marker, especially on plastic. Just my .02

I'd recommend instead getting the package signed , get the base signed ( if you know it's a sure thing) and I've used black blue and silver sharpies on the bases and I've got james worthy , jerry west, Matt kemp , and Andre ethier .

    Hi Chris,
I should have clarified in my original post. The signing is for a football player, and the problem with the McFarlane football bases are that they are not smooth, they are rough to simulate grass or astroturf. I would completely agree with you if it was a basketball or a hockey McFarlane. I tried getting the base signed with Mr. Butkus a few years ago, and it came out pretty crummy.
