Why you should enter SCF contests

This last season I ran 3.5 of the SCF hockey contests, and the participation was just a shade shy of pathetic hahhaaa. I'm pretty sure there's more than eight of you all around on any given day. One of the contests was won by a BASEBALL collector for chrissakes!!!

Now I love starting the contests up, it's easy-peasy. And every now and then check in on them. But then the season ends and I have to add up a whole bunch of numbers and stuff and it takes forever so the less of you that enter the easier things are for me trollololol. But hey, it costs NOTHING to enter other than a little bit of your time and even less of your brains (good thing too eh?) and you can win CARDS!

GOOD CARDS!!! Cards that I buy myself, with money from my own pocket! Cards that I ask the winners "What would you like?" and then I go see Derek at OT SportsCards. I don't skimp on myself so why would I on someone else??

So look at what my winners got this year and feel free to enter next year..................

This was the big prize from the Stats Challenge Contest, eight people entered and two people tied for the win. MattDMC graciously gave up the card to HabsMTL09, which save me from cutting it up into two :D

Matt collects Red Wings, including Danny DeKeyser, so he got this one.............

Then there was the Playoff Predictor, which had two parts......... Sharky94 won the overall contest, and he likes every Washington Capital going except for Ovi, so he got theses two............

The Laich may not look like much but it's /199 instead of the usual /999, so it's a SP :p

Annnnnnd pwaldo won the nightly Playoffs Guess-the-Score contest. All he or anyone had to do was...........guess the score. A baby or monkey or turtle had the same chances, that's how easy it was. He doesn't collect hockey cards tho (BLASPHEMY) so he wound up with these two..........

So there ya go. None of these cards were cheap and there was enough thought put into them that hopefully they're keepers. Because. I. Care.

So hopefully we'll seeyas in October!

That is a very good set of reasons indeed!

BTW can you send me the final scores for all of those? Gotta figure out who the big winner is so that we can give out the stuff we've had in our signatures forever...and can then change our signatures.
Habs fan and collector! Main PC's: Carey Price, Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, Juraj Slafkovsky, and of course...

I can't join contests until Next April until I'm in "good standing"

But seriously, pretty awesome the contests you run and the prizes you come up with!
