Annual 'Meet the Sooners Day' set for Sunday, July 22

NORMAN — The Oklahoma football program will hold its “Meet the Sooners Day” at 1:30 p.m. July 22 at Memorial Stadium.

The annual free event gives children (14 and under) a chance to interact with their favorite players. Each child may be accompanied by a maximum of one adult, but adults can’t seek autographs.

A Sooner Jr. Kids Club autograph session will begin at 1 p.m. Each child is limited to only one item to be signed.

I’m just glad I heard about it in advance this year. So thank you for posting it. Normally I hear about it when the local news is covering the evening after it took place. I’m sure it’s publicized on some form of social media I don’t have.

I’d much rather attend the Kentucky one you posted and live in that part of the world but I don’t guess OU is too bad. You know there is some future NFL players in that bunch. I would have sure like to have gotten Perine’s signature while he was there but it didn’t happen. They have a RB coming in next year by the name of Marcus Major that will be worth your child age 14 and under standing in line for.

I love Ky but there not much advance notice on stuff which is what stinks for me as I need a quite a bit notice to adjust my schedule.
