http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...s-disease.html
Legendary WWE star Masa Saito has passed away after an 18-year battle with Parkinson's disease. He was 76.
Saito had reportedly been training to be an Olympic torchbearer for the 2020 Tokyo games after his condition began to improve over the last few years.
But recently Saito, whose nickname was Mr Torture, took a turn for the worst and he passed away at 1.05am on Saturday.
Saito represented Japan at the 1964 Tokyo Olympics in freestyle wrestling before moving to the US.

So saddened by this... I never had the opportunity to watch him wrestle except for after the fact, but he was one of those wrestlers, of whom there are few, whose real life escapades made his wrestling persona appear to be a toned down version of his real self rather than an amped up version of his real self. He was able to maintain a level of relevance that exceeded simple recognition. He was interesting... something the majority of today's biggest stars lack on their best nights.
