Last year, J.P. Murnan, a 26-year-old diesel mechanic from Overland Park, Kan., was among the more than 150,000 NFL card collectors who participated in the Panini NFL Player of the Day and one of the 50,000 who earned prizes. But as the Grand Prize winner, Murnan was the only one spending the day with Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes II.
