Post Antonio Brown is being sued for incident where he nearly killed a toddler in April

    https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...apartment.html

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown is being sued for throwing his furniture out from his 14-story apartment and nearly killing a toddler in April.

Ophir Sternberg named Antonio Brown in a civil lawsuit, claiming that his 22-month-old son was walking near a pool at an upscale Florida apartment complex when 'large objects started to fall from the building many floors above them.'

Sternberg states that the items, including two large vases, a heavy ottoman and other pieces of furniture, almost hit the young boy and his grandfather, TMZ Sports reports.

The lawsuit shares that one of the vases that was thrown, shattered when hitting the ground at the Mansions at Acqualina, Sunny Isles Beach.

When security arrived at the scene, they determined that the items came from Brown's apartment. Security footage further corroborated that the pieces came from the player's abode.

The lawsuit also alleges that Brown became belligerent with authorities, once they arrived at the scene.

'Mr. Brown was extremely agitated, acting aggressively, and yelling at security personnel when [police] arrived to the scene,' the suit stated.

Sternberg also claims that Brown damaged his own apartment 'in a fit of rage.'

The real estate investor claims that his child was left traumatized by the ordeal and has had night terrors associated with the event.

Sternberg is suing for assault and intentional infliction of emotional distress. He claims that Brown acted 'without regard for human life.'

Brown has until October 11 to respond to the lawsuit, according to KDKA.

The wide receiver is also the subject of a second lawsuit from his landlord over damage sustained to the apartment unit.

It contends that Brown breached the lease agreement by 'destroying, damaging defacing the premises, as well as furnishings and appliances' belonging to the complex.

Brown has refused to pay for the damage, according to the suit.

Condos at the Mansions at Acqualina range from $6million all the way up to $38million, according to real estate listings for Miami Beach.

I agree but the guy is an alleged billionaire so maybe he just really hates the Steelers?

My guess is that A.B. will settle out of court or lose in court as this was a very public event and there were probably many witnesses ... one gets the feeling from watching the Steelers this year that A.B. and Lev may both be playing elsewhere when next season starts and that Big Ben might retire in the near future as well … if those 3 guys don't win a SB together, they may be the best "trio" to never win one in NFL history ...
