    Box Bottom Cards Question

    Hello!

I was wondering a couple things on Box Bottom Cards like OPC now and Topps from back in the day.

    1. Do people collect them?

    2. Cut or leave the box intact?

    3. If you do cut it - separate all of them if there are multiple cards or keep it on one sheet of 4 for example.

Probably not pressing - important questions, but as I catch up on OPC sets it crossed my mind.

    Thanks
    Tim

I’m not sure if there is one “rule” with box bottoms. I’ve seen them kept intact in sets of 2 & 4, but I’ve also seen them all cut out into individual cards, too.

I think they are pretty cool adds for someone’s collection. Nice question!

I've had good luck selling lots of them on Ebay after breaking OPC boxes. I keep them intact.

Probably depends on the condition of the box or bottom. Sometimes the box is terrible and it makes sense to cut out the cards (especially if one or more on the bottom are damaged on the corner) but if the box is in really good shape I'd just keep the box and hope it has more value like that once the supply of them dwindles down enough in the future.

Thanks for all the responses/feedback! I think I will keep them all intact as long as possible.
