    Oh man I just watched a break of the Cup and they pulled a Boeser black acetate auto #/25 I think. Beautiful card.. but the auto was crazy smudged and the whole card looked like it was used a practice puck. Just beat up so bad, it’s really a shame. Dude must have just not cared at all when signing these things.

    The autograph smudging is a much bigger problem that just an ink stain on the card. Depending on the type of card you could even remove the ink stain but a smudged autograph is going to be a total card destroyer. I mean technically you could even take a card that was badly damaged with a perfect autograph and just use it for a cut autograph card. But a destroyed autograph on a card basically makes it worth junk level.
