Looking to test an Image Repository that is integrated to SCF! Details inside link/thread
Members -
Ok - I lied! - I made another modification. However, I think this something that will be beneficial to you, especially if you are using Photobucket or something else and have been looking for an alternate solution. This enhancement can provide a direct link to your cards (for Trading/Buy-Sell/Show and Tell, etc.).
The site is postimg.cc and you can use this with OR without an account!!! If you choose to create an account, it is free to register.
What is Postimg?
The Postimage plugin adds a tool to quickly upload and attach images to posts. All images are uploaded to the our servers so there is no need to worry about disk space, bandwidth bills or web server configuration. Our plugin is a perfect solution for forums with visitors who are not quite tech savvy, and have difficulties uploading images to the Internet or don't know how to use [img] bbcodes.
Here are some FAQs: https://postimages.org/faq
So, how does it works?
When starting a new thread or posting a reply you see an "CLICK HERE TO ADD PHOTOS TO POST" box below the posting text area:
add-photo1.png
When you click that link. A popup will appear that will allow you to select one or more images from your computer. Click the "Choose files" button to open the file picker:
add-photo2a.png
You will have the chance to set the size of the image you want to upload. It is recommended to use either 150x112, 320x240 or 640x480.

As soon as you close the file picker, the selected images will get uploaded to postimg.cc and the appropriate bbcodes will be automatically inserted into your post if there are 10 images or less:

If there are more than 10 images you want to load at once, you will see a 2nd box with all of the image codes in which you can Cut/Paste into the post you are making.
add-photo4a.png
You will have the chance to select the type of link you want. It is recommended that you use Thumbnail for forums to use on SCF
add-photo4b.png
You also can have the images on 1 Column (Up/Down), 1 Row (Left/Right) or 2, 3 or 4 images per column.
add-photo4c.png
Click "Submit" when you have finished editing the post. Thumbnails of your images will appear in the post, and they will also link to the bigger versions of your images hosted at postimg.cc.

This modification is now available on SCF. I am looking for feedback on this. If you would like to use this thread to test out the platform, please do so. This will NOT impact any usage with the SCF Inventory Manager platform, this is an alternative for you to store images.
Side benefit to this - you can use the same images on Facebook Groups and if you wanted to host your own images for eBay listings.
Thanks - this post will also be copied into the Feedback/Suggestions area.
