Flickr Storage Limit - Effective January 8th, 2019
I received the email regarding Flickr's new policy that will become effective on January 8th, 2019.
Free users will now be capped at 1,000 photos or videos.
After January 8th, users will no longer be able to upload new content if they have surpassed this new limit.
Also, If you have more than 1,000 photos and videos on your account, your content will be automatically deleted to meet the new storage limit starting February 9th, 2019.
More information can be found here on their site:
https://www.flickr.com/lookingahead/...ent=1000photos
I went into my Flickr account today and deleted some photos I didn't need, so I am currently under the 1,000 photo/video limit (currently at 868). I guess I'll need to keep a watchful eye on that number moving forward. Sucks, but that's the way it goes. I kinda felt this coming when Flickr was purchased by SmugMug.
Will you be moving to something else or switching to the Pro version of Flickr? I believe it's $50 annually for unlimited storage.Jhonas Enroth Card Collector & Host of the Hidden Content
