Post Display Default Change to occur around December 1st.

    Members:

With more and more members using mobile/tablet devices to connect to SCF (using browsers, not the SCF app), there was a change that needed to made in order for posts to be better displayed. For years, when you read a post like this, the information about the member that posted would be on the left hand-side, regardless of how you connected (desktop, mobile, etc) - see screenshot below

About a month ago, I added 2 modifications

    1) An Auto-detect for the device you are on. If you were on desktop, it kept the above layout; however, on mobile - the post information was changed to this

The 2nd modification would allow you to decide how you wanted to see this information from the settings. At the bottom of this page, https://www.sportscardforum.com/prof...do=editoptions, you'll see an option for Postbit Style with 3 options, Forum Default, Legacy (Left side - 1st image) or Postbit (Top - 2nd image). You have the ability to switch this at any point - you can test and see what works best for you!

So, with these modifications, I do plan to switch the default to use the Top Layout (image 2) around December 1st. If you want to keep the classic/legacy layout, feel free to switch your settings now.

The biggest part of making this change is that the SCF App, as discussed before is good for the forums - but any of the tools is hard to access via the app. Making SCF to run better for all applications on a mobile/tablet device is the right way to go.
