What's the latest on shipping from US to Canada?

Got some cards for sale that will likely go to Canada.

Haven't shipped there in a long time.

000 bubble mailer with 1 card in top loader etc.

    What service? How much?

    Thanks everyone

Canadian collectors, how do you prefer your cards are packed / shipped?

Well I must have done something wrong.
    OR
    Too thick.

Just shipped a 000 bubble mailer with a PSA graded card in it,
    TEN (insert expletive) dollars!!

Would have been cheaper to drive it over the border, and mail it from inside Canada!

Now, I just went to Canada Post to calculate a price for shipping.
    90 grams
5 inches by 7 inches by one half inch (dimensions of 000 bubble mailer)
    6 options presented.
    Cost between $17 and $48

Canadians, what am I doing wrong? Cant be that much to mail it from Ft Erie Ontario to Vancouver BC, right?

If you want to have tracking then yes it's that expensive. If not it's $1.80 card unless it goes over 100g then it's another $1.20

One graded card with a bubble mailer is right in that range

Canada Post workers tend to have no idea what they are doing or try to only give you expensive options. You specifically have to ask to have it either mailed as overweight lettermail (not tracked) and it will be in the range of $2-4 CAD or Registered mail, which provides tracking for small parcels such as 1 PSA slab in a small bubble mailer - $10 CAD on average.
