    New Member - Sandberg Super Collector

    Hey everyone!

    My name is Brad and I'm a longtime Cubs collector. I was once a very active member of thebenchtrading.com but I haven't done much the last 5 years or so. My main focus is on Ryne Sandberg, Ron Santo, Fergie Jenkins and Brooks Kieschnick.

    I'm sort of stuck in between wanting to trade a bunch and wanting to sell it all off, so I'm not exactly sure what I'm trying to do on here just yet!

    I'm curious though, to anyone who feels like giving an opinion on the subject matter: what is the current state of the hobby? Is it growing, dying, holding steady? Also, I used eBay and comc.com for most of my buying needs. Are those still the go-to sites?

    Welcome to SCF and love the Sandberg PC! I will have to see what Sandberg's I may have and see if we can trade for some of the Derek Jeter, which is my PC!

    Only collect Football/Baseball cards, but I have lots of Basketball/Hockey cards and set to trade for BB and FB!

    Welcome to the forum! I am a long-time Sandberg fan but not a big Ryno collector although I did recently pick up an autographed cap from managing the farm team. I was a wanna-be short stop so was always a sucker for the middle-infielders. In fact my favorite Cub was actually a guy most have never heard of as he was only there 1 year and that was Paul Noce. Love to see some of your Sandberg stuff over in the Show and Tell forum!

    As for the state of the hobby, that's another long thread but I'd say despite the ups and downs the hobby is as strong as ever.
